From standard commodity plastics to advanced engineering polymers, pellet feedstock offers versatility that rivals and in some cases exceeds traditional filament-based systems. Standard thermoplastics form the bulk of pellet printing applications. ABS pellets are widely used for automotive fixtures, consumer product prototypes, and general-purpose functional parts. Polypropylene pellets serve chemical-resistant containers, living hinges, and lightweight structural components. These commodity materials benefit from massive production volumes, keeping costs extremely low compared to their filament equivalents. Engineering-grade pellets address demanding applications requiring superior mechanical properties.
