Complete autoclave maintenance guide with program settings, safety rules, and important operating notes.

Overview

High-pressure steam autoclaves use electric heating to generate pressurized steam for sterilization. Components include a sealable chamber, pressure gauge, exhaust valve, safety valve, and heating element.

Pre-Operation

Pre-wash the system after inactivity. Install per user manual with correct pipeline connections.

During Operation

Confirm settings before starting. Drain waste promptly. Clean surfaces with neutral cleaner. Keep rails dry. Use reset button to stop, never force manually.

Safety Rules

Ensure proper grounding. Place in ventilated dry area. Do not exceed 80 percent capacity. Avoid seal ring oil contact. Leave gaps between items. Wait for gauge reading zero before opening. Calibrate regularly. Check safety valve and seal ring.

Program Settings

Liquid program at 121 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes at 120-140 KPA. Standard program at 134 degrees Celsius for 8 minutes at 220-240 KPA.

Operating Notes

To stop mid-cycle, long-press the stop button. The system will auto-release pressure and alarm when pressure reaches zero. Ensure packaging materials are properly secured and do not contact the chamber inner wall. Liquid items must only use the liquid program, not the standard program.

Routine Care

Check circuits and water level. Replace water weekly. If not used daily, run standard cycle to clear chamber. Wipe equipment after use. Clean water filter with brush after use.
