Fruit Processing Line Equipment Maintenance Management Guide
Maintenance Plan Purpose and Scope
A structured maintenance plan is essential for ensuring stable, efficient, and safe operation of fruit processing line equipment. The plan covers all processing line equipment including washing machines, sorting machines, cutting equipment, conveyor systems, and packaging machinery. The core objectives are reducing equipment failure downtime, extending equipment service life, ensuring production safety, and improving product quality.
Equipment Classification and Management
Processing line equipment is classified based on criticality: Critical equipment includes main processing units such as crushers, pulpers, and core processing machines that directly affect production output. Important equipment includes cleaning systems, conveyor belts, and sorting machines that support continuous operation. General equipment includes auxiliary systems like lighting, ventilation, and drainage that maintain the working environment.
Daily Maintenance Requirements
Operators must perform pre-shift inspections checking equipment appearance, fastening conditions, lubrication status, and electrical connections. Verify all safety protection devices are intact and functional. After each shift, clean equipment surfaces thoroughly removing all material residues. Record any abnormalities in the equipment operation log for maintenance team review.
Monthly and Quarterly Maintenance
Monthly maintenance includes detailed inspection of transmission components, bearing lubrication, belt tension adjustment, and blade condition assessment. Quarterly maintenance involves deeper inspection including motor bearing replacement if needed, electrical system comprehensive testing, and precision calibration of cutting and processing mechanisms. All maintenance activities must be documented with dates, findings, and actions taken.
