Pre-Operation Procedures

Set temperature, heating time, and cooling rate parameters accurately based on workpiece material, dimensions, and required heat treatment process specifications.

When loading workpieces, maintain proper spacing to ensure uniform heating. Adhere strictly to the equipment rated load capacity without overloading. For complex-shaped workpieces, use appropriate fixtures to prevent deformation during heating and cooling. Ensure workpieces are distributed evenly within the furnace to maintain temperature field uniformity.

Operation Monitoring

During equipment startup, closely monitor operating status including indicator lights, transmission component smoothness, and any abnormal sounds. If abnormalities are detected, immediately stop the equipment for inspection and troubleshooting. Monitor temperature changes in real time through the temperature control system, ensuring the furnace temperature follows the set heating curve. Regularly measure and record temperatures at different positions to detect non-uniformity issues.

For atmosphere-controlled processes, accurately manage gas type, flow rate, and pressure. Adjust gas parameters per process requirements to ensure heat treatment effectiveness. Regularly back up temperature control instrument data for analysis and traceability when needed.

Cooling and Unloading

When workpieces have reached the specified heat treatment time, perform cooling according to process requirements. Different cooling methods - air cooling, water cooling, oil cooling - produce different effects on workpiece properties and must be strictly followed. During cooling, observe workpiece conditions to prevent deformation or cracking from uneven cooling. After cooling to appropriate temperature, use specialized removal tools while wearing high-temperature protective equipment.

Environmental Requirements

Heat treatment equipment should be installed in dry, well-ventilated areas away from flammable materials. Ensure proper ventilation systems to exhaust heat and harmful gases generated during operation. Keep the area around equipment clean, avoiding debris accumulation. Maintain adequate lighting in the operating area. Post visible safety warning signs around equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
