Automatic Nut Shelling Machine Operation Guide

Working Principle

The automatic nut shelling machine operates by feeding nuts evenly and continuously into the hopper after the machine reaches normal operating speed. Through a combination of rolling, shearing, and squeezing forces, the nut shells are broken and separated. A final separation stage using a fan and vibrating screen separates the shell fragments from the clean nut kernels, delivering high-purity results.

Pretreatment for Optimal Results

For best shelling results with cashew nuts, it is recommended to steam the raw cashews, dry them, and grade them into at least three size categories. Proper grading ensures consistent shelling results and minimizes kernel breakage. The machine adjusts to different nut sizes through adjustable blade height and depth settings within the blade housing.

Model Specifications

Three standard models are available: Model TZ-BKJ-2 with 0.75kw motor processing 35-45 kg per hour at 200kg weight. Model TZ-BKJ-6 with 0.75kw motor processing 150 kg per hour at 420kg weight. Model TZ-BKJ-10 with 1.5kw motor processing 260-340 kg per hour at 560kg weight. All models achieve 95 percent shelling rate.

Adjustment and Operation Tips

  • Check transmission components for looseness before each operation start
  • Inspect wires and pipes for damage or leakage before connecting power
  • Grade nuts into 3-4 size categories before feeding for best results
  • The gap between feed hopper and shelling blades is pre-adjusted at factory level
  • Fine adjustments can be made if initial shelling results are not optimal
