Pre-Foaming Machine Daily Maintenance and Care Procedures
Proper maintenance of foaming machines is essential to ensure normal operation and extend equipment service life. These maintenance procedures cover daily, usage-based, and weekly care requirements for industrial pre-foaming machines.
Daily Maintenance Requirements
- Start-of-shift check: At the beginning of each workday, verify whether the previous shift has completed basic maintenance on the equipment.
- Power inspection: Before use, check that the equipment power cord is normal and all switches operate flexibly.
- End-of-day routine: In addition to mandatory maintenance items, perform daily routine care before leaving work each day and clean the machine properly.
Machine Head Daily Cleaning
- Mixing area cleaning: After each use (before leaving work), thoroughly clean the mixing area below the foaming machine head to prevent foaming agent from solidifying, seizing up, and burning out the motor.
- Shaft and outlet cleaning: After removing the lower part of the machine head, clean solidified foaming liquid residue on the shaft and discharge outlet daily. Spray with anti-rust lubricant or light machine oil.
- Side cylinder maintenance: Remove and clean both side cylinders, then apply oil daily.
- Stirring rotor cleaning: Clean the stirring rotor and remove solidified material from the rotor and copper screws.
- Coupling treatment: Spray anti-rust agent on the coupling.
- Grease application: Apply grease to the machine head daily.
Usage-Based Maintenance
- Idle over 1 hour after use: If the machine will sit unused for more than 1 hour after operation, remove the stirring jacket and clean solidified foaming residue from the copper screw above the stirring rotor shaft. Spray with anti-rust agent.
- Idle over 2 days: Remove the stirring head and hexagon socket screws to clean internal residue. Spray with anti-rust agent. Clean the stirring rotor with a wire brush. Remove and disassemble both side cylinders of the machine head, clean internal debris, and spray with anti-rust agent.
Operational Functionality Checks
- Inspect whether equipment in use is functioning normally.
- Remove the stirring rotor and check if the stirring motor is working properly.
- Check if rotation is sluggish and whether there is noise, overheating, or reverse rotation.
- Check all pipelines to ensure they are unobstructed and free of solidified blockages. If necessary, clean with cleaning agent and blow dry.
Weekly Maintenance
- Machine head deep clean: The machine head must be disassembled and cleaned once per week.
- Remove foaming agent from the air cylinders at both ends.
- Remove hexagon socket screws and clean internal residue.
- After cleaning, spray with anti-rust lubricant or light machine oil.
- The grease fittings on the machine head must be lubricated weekly.
Responsibility Assignment
- Daily maintenance: Completed by the operator on duty that day.
- Weekly maintenance: Rotated among team members, arranged by the team leader.
- Prevent motor burnout due to human factors. Investigate causes and assign responsibility for any incidents.
Consistent execution of these maintenance procedures prevents foaming agent solidification, extends equipment life, and ensures reliable pre-foaming machine operation in production environments.
