Press brakes are essential machines in metal fabrication used for bending metal sheets into various shapes and angles.
Preparation Before Operation
Before starting the press brake check the power connection and ensure all safety devices are functioning. Clean the work area and remove any debris.
Parameter Settings
Set the bending angle on the control panel. Adjust the bending force based on material type and thickness. Configure the die clearance at 6 to 10 percent of material thickness.
Executing the Bend
Place the workpiece on the worktable ensuring proper alignment. Start the machine and observe the process. Keep hands away from the die area during operation.
