Three-Roller Plate Bending Machine Part 2: Operation Procedure and Maintenance
Part 2 covering 7-step operation procedure, core techniques, maintenance system, and safety rules for 3-roller plate bending machines.
# Three-Roller Plate Bending Machine Part 2: Operation Procedure and Maintenance
## 4. Standard Seven-Step Operation Procedure
### Step One: Start Equipment
1. Connect main power supply
2. Confirm control system is powered on normally
3. Perform no-load jog test
### Step Two: Select Roller Position
- Thicker plates require larger initial opening
- Smaller target diameter requires greater bending amount
### Step Three: Plate Placement
- Place sheet smoothly into equipment
- Sheet edge parallel to rollers
- Prevent diagonal entry
### Step Four: Pre-Bending
- Press sheet end to appropriate bending angle
- Minimize straight edge section
### Step Five: Formal Rolling
1. Start roller rotation
2. Slowly press down or adjust side rollers
3. Gradually approach target radius
### Step Six: Correction and Rounding
- Check if diameter meets requirements
- Check interface gap uniformity
### Step Seven: Unloading
1. Confirm rollers have stopped
2. Release pressure
3. Never insert hands into roller gap
## 5. Core Operation Techniques
### Pre-Bending Control
- Insufficient pre-bending leads to obvious straight edges
- Excessive pre-bending causes local deformation
### Springback Control
| Material | Springback Characteristics |
|----------|---------------------------|
| Carbon steel | Small springback |
| Stainless steel | Large springback |
| High-strength steel | Significant springback |
## 6. Maintenance System
### Daily Maintenance
- Clean roller surfaces
- Check oil circuits
- Inspect fasteners
### Weekly Maintenance
- Check fasteners
- Inspect lubrication
- Check hydraulic pipe connections
### Monthly Maintenance
- Check hydraulic oil contamination
- Inspect filter elements
## 7. Safety Operation Rules
- Operators must receive training
- Never insert hands into roller gap
- Confirm equipment is fully stopped before unloading
