1. Welding Robot Safety Operation Regulations

Pre-work Inspection

  • Check wire channels for damage or exposed wires
  • Ensure no debris on robot body, external axes, torch cleaning station, or water cooler
  • No liquid containers on control cabinet
  • No flammable items in operating room
  • Room temperature not exceeding 25°C
  • No air, water, or electrical leaks
  • Welding fixture threads undamaged, robot no abnormal condition
  • No magnetic fields or vibration sources in robot working range

Startup Procedure

  1. Open main power switch
  2. Open control cabinet, welding machine, and water cooler power
  3. Robot can only be operated after powering on without alarms

Operation Safety

  • Confirm no personnel in robot motion range when operating with teach pendant or running programs
  • Non-staff or maintenance personnel must not enter the operating room
  • Teach pendant should be placed in designated position away from high temperature areas
  • Wear work clothes, gloves, shoes, and protective glasses
  • Stop immediately if equipment abnormality or failure occurs

2. Welding Robot Maintenance Cycles

Daily Maintenance

  • Wire feeding mechanism: check feeding torque and conduit condition
  • Gas flow: ensure normal flow for welding quality
  • Torch safety system: collision system must function normally
  • Cooling water circulation: confirm normal operation
  • TCP check: verify tool center point works normally

Weekly Maintenance

  • Clean robot body axes
  • Check TCP accuracy
  • Verify zero position accuracy
  • Clean cooling water filter
  • Clean compressed air inlet filter
  • Clean torch nozzle and wire feeding mechanism
  • Check hose bundle and wire guide hose for damage
  • Check external emergency stop buttons and safety collision system

Monthly Maintenance

  • Comprehensive welding system inspection
  • Check robot axis screws for looseness
  • Comprehensive welding environment inspection
